The store is expected to open in mid 2002, although theheadquarters will move in late 2001. Allders has acquired eight newstores in the past year - seven former C&A branches in OxfordStreet, Guildford, York, Kingston, Sheffield Meadowhall, Leicesterand Watford, together with a newly built store at the Brewery,Romford. The stores have a combined floorspace of over 300,000 sfand the company has a target of adding 1 million sf to its originalportfolio.
