Tolleson, one of the Valley's fastest-growing communities, is situated about 15 miles west of downtown Phoenix. The school district is constructing a 36,000-sf facility that will deliver in summer 2002.
Brokers Rick Murphy, Judi Butterworth, Greg Abbott and Jason Hyams, all of CB Richard Ellis, represented the seller, Tolleson Land Partners LP of Scottsdale. Steve Poole of the Scottsdale office of Mohr Partners acted for the school district in the land sale.
Tolleson and the entire west Phoenix area are favorite landing spots for industrial users, in turn attracting the attention of home builders and buyers. The West Valley's relatively cheap land prices and availability as well as Loop 101 freeway connection are sparking the increased development.
