Roberts will move up from executive vice president and chief financial officer, having established a strong reputation running the international real estate services and investment management firm's tenant representation operations. In that stint, the 40-year-old Roberts was involved in some of the largest leasing deals in New York City, including Prudential Securities; Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP. He ran tenant representation operations since 1993, after starting his 15-year career with Jones Lang LaSalle's capital markets group.
"In a relatively short period, Peter has come to know the operations in each of our regions," says Peacock, currently president, deputy CEO and COO of Jones Lang LaSalle. "In addition to his in-depth understanding of our business, he also has the strategic expertise to help me in capitalizing on the multitude of opportunities that our global platform provides."
