B-Serv will itself work with a small number of accreditedsuppliers to drive down costs and ensure quality. The cost savingswill be passed directly to customers. King Sturge and InsigniaRichard Ellis will remain Brixton's preferred agents for landlord& tenant work, but leasing instructions may go to a wider rangeof firms.

B-Serv is to be led by Steve Lee, who joined Brixton in March2001 from Citex,where he was Managing Director. 'Brixton has morethan 750 tenants, and we see the launch of B-Serv as a way tofirstly enhance these relationships and then offer its benefits toa wider audience,' said Lee. 'B-Serv will provide a competitiveedge giving true customer economies which will lead to voidreduction and higher retention levels.'
