Buyer 13800 Westfair East JV acquires the acreage from BRB Investments, a Houston-based investment group that also owns a Westland Drive industrial site. William J. Byrd, Charles H. Herder and Albert F. Muller, all of the Houston office of Boston-based Colliers International, negotiated the transaction.
Byrd tells GlobeSt.com that Stress Engineering plans to use the site for a Houston expansion.Stress has its corporate headquarters at nearby 13800 Westfair Dr. The company also has facilities at Mohr Research and Engineering in Houston as well as offices in Cincinnati, Atlanta, Denver, New Orleans and Chicago. Stress Engineering is a full-service engineering consulting firm.
