Sessions include discussion on water resource issues, using tourism for economic development and resident quality of life, historic preservation, greenways, brownfield redevelopment, natural areas, small business development and downtown revitalization.
The conference brings together individuals from various backgrounds who deal with the built and natural environment to discuss ways to improve their communities.
The conference is sponsored by Detroit Edison Economic Development Services and the county.
