Scott Jones, a 25-year veteran of the banking and mortgage lending industry, brings "experience and understanding of the challenges lenders face in both originating loans and in their `back office' make him uniquely qualified for this position," says Don O'Neill, Stewart Mortgage Information president. O'Neill adds that Jones' experience and industry relationships will "provide new opportunities for Stewart Mortgage Information to create new alliances with lenders for improving the lending process and delivering on our shared vision of increased home ownership."
Jones, formerly a VP of industry relations for IMX Exchange, believes Stewart's lending partnerships of products and processes will ultimately position lenders to reduce costs for home ownership by American consumers. Jones also has managed operations and sales initiatives for national mortgage production platforms among other things.
