"File documents, including title searches, judgment searches and other third-party searches will be accessible from our server in Adobe Acrobat PDF format," according to MTA president Joseph Rosenbaum. "Clients log on to our Web site, selected the desired client file number and then open any document in that client's file.

"For years, the title process has been slower than it needs to be," Rosenbaum continues. "There's no longer any justification for that. We've made it so that a 50-year-old mortgage that a title searcher pulls out of a dusty county archive in the morning can be scanned that afternoon, and is available for download anywhere in the world."

The Web site, www.madisontitle.com , also includes downloadable legal forms, plus mortgage, title premium and 1031 tax-deferred exchange calculators.
