MacDonnell, 54, has been involved in almost 10% of the sales. Since joining the company in 1987, he participated in the sale of more than $700 million in residential and commercial properties.
Some of his high-profile sales include $300 million of commercial properties from around the US on behalf of the Resolution Trust Corp.; two sales for a total of $11.3 million of the Redstone Castle in Redstone, Co., near Aspen; the $29-million sales of three south Florida apartment complexes; and the $4.7 million ''blueprint auction'' of 28 townhomes slated to be built in the Denver area.
