Texas-born Kohler was in on every major commercial real estate development in Orlando over the past 22 years. He came here in 1972 as a Texas developer's representative and joined the city in 1975. He was a community block grant expediter and later became Orlando's chief planner.
Kohler became DDB's executive director in 1979.
