The award is given to firms that demonstrate environmental sensitivity, such as used recycled materials and products in a construction project, promoting environmental awareness in the construction industry, and designing a project that helps preserve the environment.
The award was accepted by Jerry Putnam, LHB's quality assurance director. The company says itstrives to provide "designs that are as satisfying to the soul as they are kind to the environment."
