The first is Timothy Hayes, the trade association's managing director and driving force behind AIR's Internet-based "e-Multiple" property data system. Hayes will focus on the strategic direction of AIR, including the day-to-day management of the organization's technology development and computer department.

The other new manager is Joy De La Cruz, the group's longtime controller. She will continue to oversee all AIR accounting, cash-management and human resources functions, but now also will supervise the group's contracts and forms operations and co-ordinate its special events.

AIR, the nation's largest industrial and commercial real estate organization, represents more than 90% of all industrial and commercial brokers in the Los Angeles Basin. A nonprofit, it was created in 1960 to foster knowledge, integrity and efficiency in the brokerage business.
