Pro Fitness is rolling out the first health club of two health clubs planned for the DFW region. The launch begins in a 12,445-sf inline spot at the Centre at Preston Ridge, positioned at the intersection of Preston Road and Gaylord Parkway. The health club will open doors in 2002 and follow with a McKinney location shortly thereafter. David Levinson and Karen McCulley, both of Dallas-based Weitzman Group's commercial retail division, handled negotiations along with Paul Vennon of the John T. Evans Co., also of the Dallas area. Briar Preston Ridge Partners LP is the property owner.

In Addison, Phone Remedies LLC has signed a 5,450-sf lease for a headquarters and call center at Addison Park Place, located at 15495 Belt Way Dr. Phone Remedies is a local exchange carrier and VoiceStream Wireless dealer. Joe Martinez and Doug Willman, also part of the Weitzman team, structured the deal for the tenant. Addison Park Ltd. is the building owner.

Bedford will get a new Mabil's Dollar Store in a 4,250-sf spot at the Parkwood Village shopping center. Located at the intersection of Harwood and Norwood, the center will mark the fourth location for the Dollar Store franchisee. Gordon Campbell and Peter Kosley, both of Dallas-based Henry S. Miller Commercial, handled negotiations for tenant and building owner, Parkwood Village Joint Venture.
