The state is taking the entire 43,414-sf, single-story Highwoods Center at Tradeport 111 building for an estimated 10 years. With renewable one-year options, area brokers tell GlobeSt.com the lease has an estimated aggregate value of $7 million, based on a full-service rate of $16 per sf.
The state agency is also leasing 200,000 sf at Highwoods' Century Center at Interstate 85 and Clairmont Road, DeKalb County. That 10-year lease is valued at $45 million or $22.50 per sf.
The Department of Revenue is moving its 112 staffers into the Center at Tradeport building in December. The employees will be relocating from the agency's Morrow, GA regional office, property tax and bankruptcy divisions.
