Nordstrom's is taking a spot at the Fairview Corporate Center, situated at 600 S. 56th St. The industrial space is just south of the corner of Interstate 10 and Chandler Boulevard. Nordstrom's will use the space for temporary inventory storage.

The retailer, known for its copious shoe selection and unmatched customer service, is gearing up for the opening of the Chandler Fashion Square, a 1.3 million-sf regional mall at the southwest corner of Chandler Boulevard and the Price Freeway section of Loop 101. The leased space is about four miles west of the new mall. The Nordstrom's store is one of 150 other shops and restaurants poised for the mall's Oct. 17 launch.

The Chandler Fashion Square is the first regional mall to be built in the Valley in more than six years. Nordstrom's has its first Valley location at the Scottsdale Fashion Square, located at the southwest corner of Scottsdale and Camelback roads.

The Phoenix office of Grubb & Ellis, with brokers Brian Lee and Eddy Moore, represented Nordstrom's. Tom Louer and John Werstler, both of he Phoenix office of CB Richard Ellis, negotiated for owner EJM.
