Voted "Best Industrial Park of 2001" by the Insider Business Journal, the 233-acre park is one of the few state Certified Industrial Parks in Livingston County and is served by all necessary utilities at the site.
Approximately 10 acres remain available for sale on a build-to-suit basis in TransWest. Shell construction on a 50,000-sf and a 15,000-sf building is near completion. Both are available for lease and tenant finishes can start immediately.
TransWest is home to some of Livingston County's leading firms including Anheuser-Busch, Illbruck Automotive, Tomra North America, Gilreath Manufacturing and the recently completed Livingston Regional Michigan Technical Education Center. M-TEC is designed to provide training in manufacturing, construction and information systems.
Jon Savoy and Greg Hundersmarck, both long-time Livingston County residents, will head the team in charge of marketing the TransWest Industrial Center.
Savoy is a senior vice president and director of industrial services for Grubb & Ellis and a seasoned expert in the acquisition and disposition of industrial real estate. Hundersmarck specializes in marketing industrial and commercial land in the Livingston County area.
