The tract is located at the northwest corner of Atascosita Road and Timber Forest Drive.Canyon Lands Partners I Ltd. is the seller. Tom Condon Jr. with Betz Commercial Brokerage Inc. negotiated for Canyon Lands while Yancey-Hausman used in-house representative Bill Rowell for the talks. Tom Hamilton of Alamo Title Co. coordinated the closing.
The Yancey-Hausman source says the project will begin toward the end of the year. Yancy-Hausman, which handles development services, leasing, investment sales, and property management has offices in Houston and Austin, and works primarily in the Texas markets.
In an unrelated transaction, Bogart Golf Inc. leased 2,600 sf of office space at Sweetwater Plaza in Sugar Land, TX. Peggy Meredith of Colliers International's Houston office represented the tenant and Peter Jacob of Sugarland Properties acted for the building owner, Sweetwater Plaza Ltd.
