Ackerman tells GlobeSt.com that his focus will be to expandMiller's retail division in Houston as well as negotiate landinvestment transactions. Ackerman hails from the ranks ofDallas-based Weitzman Group team and is a veteran of the retailinvestment and leasing sectors. Originally from New York City, hehas more than 20 years of experience in the commercial real estateindustry. Early in his career, he owned a company and worked atGrubb & Ellis Co. before helping to start Weitzman's retailinvestment group.

O'Conner was an office and industrial broker at ConcordDevelopment and Hartman Management. Malcolm Baker III is a recentcollege graduate who will be working with Rollie Andre, senior vicepresident in the office building division.
