Ackerman tells GlobeSt.com that his focus will be to expand Miller's retail division in Houston as well as negotiate land investment transactions. Ackerman hails from the ranks of Dallas-based Weitzman Group team and is a veteran of the retail investment and leasing sectors. Originally from New York City, he has more than 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Early in his career, he owned a company and worked at Grubb & Ellis Co. before helping to start Weitzman's retail investment group.
O'Conner was an office and industrial broker at Concord Development and Hartman Management. Malcolm Baker III is a recent college graduate who will be working with Rollie Andre, senior vice president in the office building division.
