Formerly the United States Trade Representative, Barshefsky is currently Senior International Partner at Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering, Washington D.C., where she provides global business, investment, regulatory, trade and negotiating advice.
Barshefsky was the chief trade negotiator and principal trade policy maker for the United States from 1996 to 2001. As the United States Trade Representative and a member of the President's Cabinet, Barshefsky has been a central figure for international business.
