Safeway intends to construct two 20,000-gallon fuel tanks adjacent to its grocery store in the Evergreen Shopping Village, located at 1645 140th Ave. N.E. Safeway started its march into the gasoline business in 1999.
The retailer already runs gas stations at its stores in Kenmore and Renton.
