A couple hours is all it took to decide, Patrick J. Haggerty, vice president of the Campbell Co. of Dallas Inc., tells GlobeSt.com. The USA Industries team flew into the area, checked out four buildings and settled on 933 Avenue N., a holding of Synermark Avenue N. Ltd. managed by Kennedy-Wilson Austin Inc. Haggerty says the site brings USA Industries' first Texas distribution center for the privately held company.
It's another done deal for the Henry S. Miller Commercial team of David Dunn and Larry G. Rodgers, who ply their trade in the Great Southwest. The long-term deal puts the 34-year-old, 160,000-sf building at full occupancy after scouring for a tenant for about eight months, says Dunn.
The Arlington-based team also renewed Dometic Corp., based in Elkhart, IN, to its 29,500-sf distribution site at 2221-2225 109th St. in Grand Prairie. Dunn and Rodgers handled talks for the building owner, Accounts Adjustment Services Corp. of Dallas. The renewal, says Dunn, also keeps that 60,000-sf Great Southwest holding at 100% occupancy. The long-term deal represents the second signing for the manufacturer of refrigeration and AC units for the RV industry.
