The Navy Yard site will ultimately include 600,000 sf of officespace, and 20,000 sf to 40,000 sf of retail space. In a statement,the District says HUD selected the city from a pool of 66applicants. And Washington has received other HOPE IV grantsrecently: $30.8 million last year, $29.9 million in 1999 and $20.3million in 1997.
