Colorado-based Castle Rock Industries bought ProChem in April2000. Now it is consolidating operations to cut costs.

Castle Rock has a plant in this southwest suburb of Denver, thatmakes similar equipment as the plant in Prescott. Both plants areoperating at only 30% of capacity, so it made sense to the companyto move the Prescott operation to the newer and bigger operation inColorado.
