Brian Murphy, vice president of Dallas-based Staubach Co., tells GlobeSt.com that his client has signed a 10-year lease for the 50,000-sf retail center at 15340 N. Dallas Parkway. Construction begins later this fall and will serve as a prototype for other renovations.

The retailer, Murphy says, is the largest privately owned men's shoe store in the nation. Founded in 1949, Larry's Shoes operates upward of 14 stores in its two-state network. Robin Smith of Tricor Realty in Dallas represented the building owner, Rosewood Management.

Tere's Meat Market has signed another Dallas-Ft. Worth location, this time heading for a 12,000-sf spot at Garland Square, situated at 3160 Saturn Rd. Luis Pina of Dallas-based Henry S. Miller Commercial acted on the Mexican meat market owner and Mitchell S. Terry acted for the building owner, Delta Investors.

Darrell Hernandez of United Commercial Realty/ChainLinks in Dallas has signed Unbridled Saddlery to 3,410 sf for an equestrian boutique, which specializes in English riding equipment and apparel. The retailer has selected space in Snider Plaza in the Park Cities area of Dallas and is planning a Nov. 1 opening.

Lou Miranda, also of United Commercial Realty, has closed a 20-year ground lease for Taco Bell. The 30,000-sf restaurant will be located in a 100,000-sf retail center at the intersection of Interstate 10 and Viscount in El Paso. Best Buy, Comp USA and Barnes & Noble anchor the center, owned by the Juan Gonzalez Reyes Family Trust, a private investment group.
