AIA, in praising the Dallas-based firm, says "repeatedly clients have claimed that Rogers-O'Brien performs above expectations." The general contractor counts among its projects some of the most high profile in the Dallas-Ft. Worth region. The list includes the Women's Museum at Fair Park, Neiman Marcus at the Shops at Willow Bend, Cisco Systems Richardson Development Center and Billingsley International Business Park. The contractor also has built Wal-Mart distribution centers in the Texas towns of Cleburne, Terrell and Sanger.

Founded in 1969 by Steve Rogers and Pat O'Brien, the general contracting business started out as a small metal building contractor. Today, it builds everything from corporate headquarters to distribution space, offering a full gamut of construction services. The firm takes particular pride in its continuous improvement program, which it says delivers improved service to clients, safety, schedule and value.
