The speaker is Eugene Diaz, who is heading the new Investment Services division at Gale & Wentworth, the real estate company based here. He holds the title of chief investment officer, and will be backed up by Joe Adamo, senior vice president of portfolio services.
The new division combines G&W's investment and asset management departments. The investment department will be responsible for finding opportunities for investment, development and disposition, including arrangement of debt and equity financing.
The asset management department, meanwhile, will be responsible for the ongoing monitoring, benchmarking and strategic analysis of the performance of those investments. The department will also orchestrate the interrelated efforts of management services, marketing and leasing, construction services and accounting on portfolio assets.
Besides, its home base in Florham Park, G&W has regional offices in Boston, California and the U.K.
