The building would have office and retail space on the first floor and condominiums on the top floors, with two levels of underground parking.
The land is located just north of the I-696 ramp for Woodward. Two properties would have to be torn down, including the vacant Big Boy restaurant that was closed a few years ago when the company was having financial troubles.
A committee of the City Commission and the DDA will review the project proposal at a future meeting.
