The biggest of the deals is for a 33,108-sf space at 14 Wall St. The tenant is Fleet Meehan Specialists Inc., a subsidiary of FleetBoston Financial Corp. Fleet Meehan will occupy space on the 21st floor of the 37-story tower.

Newmark brokers Ronald Goldberger and Michael Levy acted on behalf of building owner W 12/14 Wall Acquisition Associates LLC. Joseph Harkins of the Staubach Co. and Max Kooper of Schlesinger & Co. brokered for Fleet Meehan. Terms of the lease were not disclosed, though Newmark says it's a long-term deal. Asking rents in the building are reported to be roughly $40 per sf.

Completed in 1932 by architectural firm Trowbridge & Livingston, the building is 1,043,261 on a 39,429 floorplate. It underwent a complete renovation in 1993 and received a BOMA Building of the Year award for restoration in 1997. Office tenants include Bankers Trust Co., Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP and Time Warner Telecom.
