Other plans for the property include a 500,000-sf hospital, a450,000-sf medical office building, a 400,000-sf central utilityspace, a 3-level parking garage and a heliport.

But first up is a 60,000-sf medical office space for about 350employees. A 300-space parking lot and 10.4-acre landscapingproject are also included in the first phase. Phase one completionis set for 2003.

The Antioch Planning Commission will meet this week to review adevelopment plan that includes the entire medical center. Kaiserwill also apply for a permit for the first phase, on which it couldbreak ground as soon as next summer.
