The 47-year-old contracting firm didn't disclose the construction cost of the project in a prepared statement. But area construction industry estimators tell GlobeSt.com on condition of anonymity the venture couldn't be built for less than $200,000 per unit or an estimated $50 million.
The value of Miller & Solomon's contract was also not disclosed.
Residences are priced from $500,000 to $1.5 million. This will be Miller & Solomon's fourth job for Boca Developers. The contractors put up Mizner Grand Phase I and II and Townsend Place, both in Boca Raton, FL, 70 miles north of Downtown Miami.
For other clients, Miller & Solomon also erected Miami Beach's landmark China Grill restaurant and Portofino Group building which boasts the tallest free-standing glass block tower in the world, according to the contracting firm. M&S also constructed the training facility for the Miami Dolphins in 1993.
The company uses a fast-track process that "speeds up the out-of-the-ground phase and makes all other phases work together toward the earliest possible completion," Miller & Solomon CEO Donald Kipnis says in a prepared statement. "This is one of the tools that allows us to fulfill our goal of always surpassing our client's expectations."
