First, the company will save up to $700 a month on parkingtickets that its vehicle racked up. Second, in owning its newlocation, it will save about $1,200 a month in lease payments.

The catering company moved from 800 Brazos last week to a4,000-sf building at 909 Vargas Rd. The office location wasG&M's base for preparing food for events and regular foodservice provided to clients. That meant a lot of vehicles comingand going. The city's parking crews were "relentless" in placingthe bright yellow parking tickets on vehicles, Charles Wells,president of G&M, tells GlobeSt.com.

The 164,741-sf CBD office building had been home to severalfood-related businesses including a Chinese restaurant. They havemoved out as the Shidler Group, which owns the building, and JonesLang LaSalle, its management and leasing company, have begun torenovate and reposition it as a high-end class B building.
