SpectraCell Laboratories is a Houston-based national clinical state-of-the-art laboratory that assesses vitamin and mineral deficiencies as indicators of immune system performance. Bobbie Bozarth of NAI Partners Commercial represented SpectraCell in the lease negotiations. Mike Handel of Insite Commercial Real Estate handled talks for building owner, Westport Business Park Ltd.

Handel tells GlobeSt.com that the building owner controls about 200,000 sf in the aggregate 500,000-sf park. The park is a master-planned industrial site near Interstate 10 and Loop 610 in the city's near northwest submarket. The advertised lease rates for Westport Industrial Park range from 90 cents per sf to $1.10 per sf, says Handel. Most of the buildings in Westport were constructed in the early 1980s.
