Famous Dave's Eyes 25 More Locations

MINNEAPOLIS-The restaurant chain specializing in barbeque beef, pork and chicken plans to expand its portfolio of 52 locations in 12 states. More than half of the locations would be owned by franchisees.

The company expects to post revenues of $104 million to $109 million in fiscal 2002, and will earn from $0.27 to $0.30 a share.

Famous Dave's of America owns 37 locations and franchises an additional 15 units in Alabama, Georgia, Ohio, Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Maryland, Virginia, Utah, South Dakota and Nebraska.

The company, which specializes in barbeque beef, pork and chicken, has signed agreements for an additional 57 franchised locations.
