Jennings currently presides as president over general contracting firm, Jack Jennings and Sons, Inc., a central Florida mainstay and 50-year-old family business. Jennings has additionally spent over 24 years in politics having been elected to the Florida State House of Representatives in 1976 and the State Senate in 1980. In 1996, she was the first female to be elected president of the Florida Senate, and the only person to hold the position for two consecutive terms. Jennings has a bevy of other commitments including chairman of Workforce Florida, director of Brown and Brown, Inc., SunTrust of Central Florida, the Salvation Army and the University of Florida in addition to membership in the Enterprise Florida Board of Directors and the Florida Partnership for School Readiness.

McMullian is the chief executive officer, chairman of the board and chairman of the executive committee for Flowers Foods Inc., a company he has worked with since 1963. McMullian has been chief executive officer of Flowers Foods since 1981. Based in Thomasville, GA, Flowers Foods produces and markets fresh and frozen baked goods. Recognizable product lines include Mrs. Smith's, Nature's Own and Cobblestone Mill. McMulllian is also a member of the Georgia Research Alliance and has served on the boards of three New York stock exchange companies.
