Pioneer, in conjunction with NYK Distributions Systems Americas Inc., a logistics company, will use the space for corporate offices, an acoustical lab and listening room, and light assembly of speakers. NYK Distributions will run the warehouse operations and provide logistical support for Pioneer. The companies will move into the building in January.

Pioneer Speakers was represented by Joe Smith of Burnham Real Estate. NYK Distributions represented itself and the lessor, Murphy Development Company, was represented by Hack Adams, the firm's director of marketing.

"We required a facility that combined warehouse space with corporate-quality offices," said Kazuyoshi Nozawa, president of Pioneer Speakers.

Pioneer Speakers and NYK Distributions are the third and fourth tenants to lease space in the recently completed three-building expansion that totals more than 230,000 sf. Other new tenants include Air Tiger Express, which has moved into 24,072 sf of industrial/distribution space, and UPS/Fritz Companies, which has leased 70,470 sf of corporate office and distribution space.
