Steve Elman and Fred Brunswick of Cushman & Wakefield of NewJersey, East Rutherford, brokered the sale on behalf of CrownEquipment. Neither the terms of the transaction nor the sale pricewere disclosed.
Crown Equipment is a 56-year-old, family-owned companyheadquartered in New Bremen, OH. The company will use the facilityto consolidate and expand operations that have been located inElmwood Park and West Paterson, NJ. "Our client wanted acustom-built corporate facility in northern New Jersey, with easyaccess to the state's eastern and western regions, as well as toNew York State," according to Elman.
Situated on a four-acre site, the single-story structure is thesecond one that has been built by Ropper LLC within OaklandIndustrial Park. The company previously developed a 70,000-sfbuilding, and currently owns a 30,000-sf structure there aswell.
