The activity in South Jersey was highlighted by Computer Science Corp.'s taking just over 90,000 sf at two locations. CSC re-upped for the entire 49,000-sf office/flex building at 2 Commerce Dr. at Moorestown West Corporate Center, Moorestown. The company also signed two leases (one a renewal, the other an expansion) totaling 41,250 sf at Expressway Corporate Center in Egg Harbor Twp.

In the northern and central parts of the state, key deals included State Street Bank's renewal for 114,500 sf of office space at 500 College Rd. in Princeton. Also, MCI Worldcom Communications renewed its lease for just under 37,800 sf for five years at 8 Campus Dr., a 215,265-sf class A asset in the Mack-Cali Business Campus in Parsippany. The property is currently 100% leased.

Meanwhile, the law firm of Brach, Eichler, Rosenberg, Silver, Hammer & Gladstone renewed its 31,103-sf lease for 10 years at 101 Parkway in the Eisenhower/280 Corporate Center in Roseland, NJ. The 237,000-sf class a property is 84% leased. And Harsco Corporation Patent Co., which supplies construction products and services, renewed its 31,000-sf lease for seven years at Mack-Cali Centre II in Paramus, NJ. Also at Mack-Cali Centre II, URS Corp., an engineering and allied science organization, renewed for 24,667 sf for 10 years.
