Infinite Group Shutters Plastics Plant

WESTFIELD, MA-Company CFO Bruce Garreau says subsidiary Osley & Whitney has been hobbled by foreign competition and will shut down operations immediately.

Company CFO Bruce Garreau tells Globest.com that Infinite Group will vacate the five-acre site in Westfield within the year. Osley & Whitney has not been producing to capacity over the last few quarters as the company has been hurt by increased foreign competition and the bankruptcy of Polaroid, its largest customer.
