Torrent Systems Inc. to Close Cambridge Offices

CAMBRIDGE, MA-Ascential Software Corp. of Westborough, MA buys Torrent Systems, Inc. of Cambridge, MA for $46 million. The firm will close its Cambridge facility early next year and combine both workforces at the Westborough Office.

Torrent spokesperson Melissa McDonald tells Globest.com that the company currently leases approximately 20,000 sf in Kendall Square Cambridge at the 5 Cambridge Center building. McDonald was not aware of the exact timing of the move but says that as office space is allocated in the Westborough location the company will have a better idea of the timetable for the move.
