Mary Descant of Caldwell Watson Real Estate Group negotiated the Northwest Houston lease. The building at 5301 Hollister is a 66,084-sf office building constructed in 1980 and renovated in 1998. The building is 99% occupied and has an asking lease rate of $18 per sf.
US Dataworks develops, markets and supports proprietary transaction processing software. Its customer base includes many of the largest financial institutions, credit card companies, government institutions and high-volume merchants in the US.
In an unrelated transaction, Descant represented Red Man Pipe & Supply in the sublease of 3,323 sf of office space at Houston's 100 Glenborough. Red Man is taking over space from Health Administration Services Inc. Art Bayliss of Strategis Cresa handled negotiations for Health Administration Services. The building is located near Interstate 45 and Beltway 8 in north Houston.
