Peterson tells GlobeSt.com the move from Brightstar's 42,000-sf current location at 8323 NW 12th St. was necessitated by the company's growth. The new facility will house Brightstar's corporate headquarters as well as product development, manufacturing, storage and distribution operations.
Brightstar Corp., a distributor and provider of wireless devices and accessories, has subsidiaries in Argentina, Bolivia, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico and Uruguay. It will soon add subsidiaries in Guatemala and El Salvador, Peterson says.
