They will come back in three months with more detailed construction and financing proposals for the 1,200-room hotel, planned for the southeast end of the Convention Center near Eighth Avenue and Harbor Drive.
The teams will have to come back before commissioners in about three months with detailed proposals for the hotel, including financing plans.
The teams are as follows: (1) Maritime Venture Partners LLC, (2) Hilton San Diego Convention Center LLC, a partnership of Hilton Hotels Corp., Portman Development LLC, Phelps Program Management LLC, Waterford Development Company LLC, and Lankford & Associates; (3) TUDC, LP with Tishman Urban Development Corp. as general partner and THR Management LP as limited partner; and (4) M.L. Hotels, LLC, a partnership of Marriott International Inc. and Landmark Organization LP.
