FedEx Building Receives $12.38 Mil Financing

SEATTLE-L.J. Melody & Co., a national real estate investment-banking firm, has arranged financing in the amount of $12.38 million for a 123,000-sf industrial facility here. Construction of the property, which is leased by Federal Express, was recently completed in 2001.

AEGON USA Realty Advisors provided the funding on behalf of the Samis Foundation of Seattle. David Stinebaugh and Mike Makar in L.J. Melody's Seattle office arranged the funding for this transaction.

L.J. Melody & Company, a CB Richard Ellis company, is one of the largest real estate investment banking firms in the U.S. Over the past two years the firm arranged $13 billion in commercial real estate transactions nationwide.
