According to the terms of the 10-year agreement, Latham &Watkins will occupy 70,000 sf in the 21-story office building.Located at 650 Town Center Dr., Center Tower is part of The Officesof South Coast Plaza, which includes about 1.4 million sf oflandmark office properties.


Latham & Watkins was represented by an Insignia/ESGbrokerage team consisting of Stephen L. Bay, Clay Hammerstein,Scott Gamber and Kevin Bender. John Barganski acted on behalf ofthe landlord, C.J. Segerstrom & Sons.


Although financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, thedirect average weighted rental rate for Costa Mesa office propertystood at $2.29 per sf at the start of the fourth quarter.
