LINQ Telecom Inc. is a facilities-based operation that provides pre-paid and post-paid calling cards and carrier services. Ron Shepherd , managing director of Julien J. Studley Inc.'s Dallas office, represented LINQ in the lease talks for 1300 S. University Drive. Randy Shipman, leasing specialist for the Dallas office of Jones Lang LaSalle, handled negotiations for building owner, Lend Lease Real Estate Investments.
The signing trails a LINQ realignment that brought all outlying offices into its Ft. Worth headquarters. The move forced a search for larger office accommodations to support the staff under one roof, according to a Studley press release. The 11-year-old LINQ looked at other alternatives then settled in on the 98,857-sf, six-story office building in the city's western tier.
