Mesa Couple Trades Up With $5.9-Mil Multifamily Closing

PHOENIX-It's been a busy December for a Mesa couple, selling one apartment community for $2.1 million and buying another for nearly $5.9 million. The couple takes the deed to the 175-unit Vista Del Monte along N. 12th Street in the Phoenix swap.

The Vista Del Monte complex is located at 7750 N. 12th St. Its seller was Map LP, an Austin, TX-based limited partnership.

Patrick Slavin of Hendricks & Partners' Phoenix office represented the seller. Ric Holway of the Phoenix team for Marcus & Millichap handled negotiations for the buyer. Earlier this month, Holway also represented the Blivens when they sold their Canyon North Apartments, situated at 2339 W. Northern Ave., to private investor Eugene Frankos of Wickieuup, AZ. Frankos paid $2.1 million for the class B holding.
