Rudy heads the slate of new RECA officers recently installed. Others are Timothy Taylor of the Jackson-Walker LLP law firm, vice president; Paul Linehan of Land Strategies Inc., secretary; and Diane Zuniga, Investors Alliance Inc., treasurer. Janice Cartwright is the executive director.
"2001 was such a phenomenal year for RECA," Rudy said in a statement. "I'm looking forward to continuing that momentum in 2002, particularly in terms of impacting transportation issues in the Austin area, because mobility affects quality of life and improved quality of life is always at the forefront of RECA's goals."
The Real Estate Council of Austin is a professional organization of leaders in the commercial real estate industry and business community. The goal of the 850-member group is to pursue property development in Austin while maintaining a balance between stimulating a vibrant economy and protecting natural resources.
