The building is next to CoolSprings Galleria in Franklin, TN. Jubilee CoolSprings LLC bought the 61,000 sf building from American Retail Group Inc., according to published reports.
The Upton's building has been vacant for about a year after American Retail closed all of its department stores. CoolSprings Galleria is a full-service mall located at Galleria Boulevard and Interstate 65. CBL & Associates Properties is the owner.
David Huddleston, Grubb & Ellis/Centennial's managing director of investment services represented the seller in the deal. Charlie Vaughn of Cherry & Associates negotiated for Jubilee CoolSprings.
