Bobbie Bozarth and Randy Wilhelm, both of the Houston office of NAI Partners Commercial, represented the tenant. B. Kelley Parker III and John Littman, both of the Houston office of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc., negotiated the lease on behalf of park developer, the Don L. Tuffli and Martha T. Tuffli Trust.

Bozarth tells GlobeSt.com that Bayport Industrial Park made sense for Aluma because it needed a good central location to store scaffolding equipment and trucks. Location, economics and accessibility were the key factors in the build-to-suit agreement.

Houston-based Aluma provides industrial scaffolding equipment and labor services as well as concrete forming and shoring equipment to the construction industry. The supplier's territory encompasses the central portion of the southern US, with a high concentration of clients along the Gulf Coast stretch. Aluma's corporate offices are located along North Loop West.
